We are SO excited to announce Lexington's newest Event Venue, Limestone Hall. On the fourth floor of the Historic Courthouse downtown, this will be a beautiful event space, perfect for conferences, weddings, community events, markets, dinners, celebrations and more! Featuring two event rooms, connected by the beautiful Rotunda - this space is versatile and we can't wait to share it with you!
What about the other floors you ask? We will have some amazing building-mates, including a Ouita Michel restaurant on the first floor, the Visitor Center, and there are talks of a bourbon bar. The second floor will be home to VisitLex and Horse Country offices, and the third will also be offices.
The folks who are working on this renovation, AU associates, the Mayor's office, the City and so many other folks, have done such an AMAZING job working on this project, and we are looking forward to hosting some great events here in 2018!

LEXEFFECT ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF LIMESTONE HALL
Unique event space located in the Historic Fayette County Courthouse
Lexington, KY: LexEffect announces the grand opening of its new event space, Limestone Hall, in December 2017. Limestone Hall will be located on the top floor of Lexington’s Historic Fayette County Courthouse. The venue will be ideal for all types of events, from weddings and corporate meetings to fundraisers and community events. Bookings for 2018 and beyond are currently being accepted.
Kaelyn Query, President of LexEffect, explains the choice of the name Limestone Hall. “The Historic Fayette County Courthouse, constructed in 1898 from native Kentucky limestone, has stood the test of time. We feel that the name Limestone Hall is a fitting tribute to the stone, which makes up over fifty percent of Kentucky’s surface rock and is the primary material in this building.” The Historic Fayette County Courthouse, currently under renovations, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
Limestone Hall consists of multiple event spaces, one of which includes the refurbished historic rotunda. Rooms are soundproof and available for events of all sizes, from small groups to large events of up to 750. The facility includes its on-site catering kitchen, and there are no exclusive vendor contracts for use of the space. Additional information on the facility and booking can be found at https://www.limestonehall.com/.
LexEffect is Lexington’s premier event management company, specializing in entertainment-driven events and both public and private functions. More information about LexEffect can be found at http://www.lexeffectky.com/.
