Show The Love
It’s probably rare that you have the audience of your entire company so this gives you the perfect time to show your employees how much you appreciate them. I’m not saying you have to give each of them a gift (if you want to – more power to you), but it is a great idea to tell them “thank you” for all their hard work over the last year and to show them a little appreciation. Good food and drinks can really be the answer here – but more on that further down the list.
Meet The Person Your Employee Spends Their Free Time With
Allow your employees to bring their spouse/significant other/partner/date/pet…. Well maybe not the pet part, unless you’re a crazy dog mom like me. No matter what, you should allow them to bring the person they choose to spend their time with! This will further show that you care about your employee’s life outside the office and that you want to meet the special person in their life. It’s also great for a spouse to feel the appreciation you have for their loved one. This also means you should bring your person so your employees can meet them too!
Party During The Workday
Have your corporate party outside the hours of 9am-5pm or whatever your standard business hours are. Having the party during lunch may sound like a great idea, but it really just causes everyone to get excited during their lunch hour and then have to go back to their desk. This results in an unproductive afternoon for everyone. By going out of your way to plan something special for your employees and having the party after work hours (when your employees can be dressed in something other than work attire) you will make your employees feel more appreciated.
Using this collection you can throw the perfect corporate holiday party that will make your employees feel loved and appreciated for the next 365 days!
